ABOUT FIREARMS INSTRUCTOR MATT BAYLEY
Since 1977, Mathew Bayley has been a professional empty-hand and firearm close-quarter combat instructor.
Mr. Bayley is, an NRA Basic Pistol, Personal Protection instructor , a post-certified defensive
tactics instructor for law enforcement, a certified rifle instructor and certified Range And
Safety Officer.
Mr. Bayley and the programs he teach have won numerous national awards, including awards from:
- Office of the President, Ronald Reagan
- California State Attorney General's Office,
John Van de Kamp
- California State Police

As an educator for 30 years with a commendation from the Commissioner of the Colorado Dept of Education for "outstanding skill in both
motivating and educating with a high degree of effectiveness", Mr. Bayley is more than just an expert in the field of handguns, he is
an articulate and creative teacher with the ability to relate to and effectively instruct any student.
